ELSA at the SIMI Conference & Exhibition
The SIMI conference and exhibition was held from the 30th of November to the 2nd of December at the Palais de Congrès in Paris. The event gathered around 250 stakeholders from the French commercial and real estate market. The conference followed nine learning tracks:

- Local and city authorities
- Energy transition
- End User
- Industry and logistics
Eric Portales (Bouygues Energies & Services), coordinator of the ELSA project, introduced the ELSA pilot site in Paris: the Ampere Building at la Défense. SOGEPROM, the real estate company owning the Ampere Building, has completely renovated and modified the building to become a sustainable construction (circular economy). The presentation focused on the installed ELSA battery energy storage system and the connected Building Energy Management System developed the ELSA consortium partner UTRCI.
The presentation showcased the benefits of the ELSA system, which is based on second life electric vehicle batteries, and the innovative Energy Management System for smart buildings, building owners and managers.
